Welcome to The Eyes Have It!
...an interactive teaching program about disorders of the eyes and visual system.
- You may access either in Instructional Mode or in Quiz Mode.
- In the Instructional Mode, you will see photographs or captioned streaming videos supplemented with text.
The icon designates a link to a captioned streaming video. Windows Media Player is required to play these videos. To download the most recent version of Windows Media Player for Windows, click here. Mac users, click here.
In order for you to see the captions in Windows Media Player, you will need to turn on the captions feature. To do this, go to the Play menu, choose Captions and Subtitles, then select On if Available.
If you encounter problems when viewing these videos, please visit "Troubleshooting Streaming Video" or select 'Streaming Videos' from the Help drop down menu at the top of the screen.
- In the Quiz Mode, you will have a chance to test your knowledge and be scored. The quizzes require Adobe Flash Player. To download the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player, click here.
There is a quiz for each topic in the Instructional Mode. A passing score is 80% or better. You are allowed one chance to answer each question. If you are unsure of the answer, click on Review to open a topic-related review page. Answer the question and click on the Submit button. You will receive immediate feedback telling you if your answer is correct or incorrect. Press Next Question to advance to the next question or use the navigation panel to easily jump around from question to question in any order.
When you have completed the quiz, press the Finish button; the quiz results page will display. Click on Review Quiz to review the quiz questions. Click on Print to display a printer-friendly results page that you can print from your browser. Click on Finish to close the quiz window and return to the main menu of The Eyes Have It.
- The Site Index will give you quick access to the topic of your choice.
- If you need additional information about how to use this program, choose Help from the navigation menu at the top of any screen.
