- Clinically apparent retinal telangiectasia and ectasia of capillary bed confined to juxtafoveal region
- Three types
- 1A: Unilateral, congenital, minimal vision loss, treatment is focal laser photocoagulation
- 1B: Unilateral, acquired, minimal vision loss, treatment is focal laser photocoagulation
- 2: Most common type, bilateral, right-angled venules with perivascular hyperpigmentation, usually minimal vision loss, no treatment recommended
- 3: Bilateral, can have minimal vision loss to legal blindness secondary to juxtafoveal capillary obliteration, no treatment recommended
