Juxtafoveal telangiectasis

Differential Diagnosis

  • Diabetic retinopathy: dot-blot hemorrhages and microaneurysms not confined to perifoveal area but scattered throughout posterior pole
  • Branch retinal vein occlusion: flame-shaped intraretinal hemorrhages that respect horizontal raphe
  • Ocular ischemic syndrome: blot hemorrhages usually located in mid-periphery
