Kellogg low vision specialists to appear on the Community Television Network

ANNĀ ARBOR, MI - Low vision specialists Karen Murphy, O.T.R., Donna M. Wicker, O.D., and Sherry H. Day, O.D. from the Kellogg Eye Center's Low Vision and Visual Rehabilitation Service appeared on the program Disability Concerns on the Community Television Network [CTN]. The program aired on January 27, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. on Channel 17 in Ann Arbor.

They discussed how people with low vision can lead more independent lives by using adaptive equipment to achieve their optimal functional level. Magnifiers, high power reading glasses, computer modifications and other devices help visually impaired people make the most of their vision. They also discussed ways to modify home and office environments to make them easier to navigate.
