The Paul R. Lichter, M.D., Vision Research Discovery Fund
Please join us in securing the future of our vision research program at the W.K. Kellogg Eye Center by lending your support to the Paul R. Lichter, M.D., Vision Research Discovery Fund.
The Fund, which will endure in perpetuity, was established to honor the visionary leadership of Dr. Paul R. Lichter who is stepping down as the F. Bruce Fralick Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Michigan Medical School, and as Director of the W.K. Kellogg Eye Center. During his tenure, Dr. Lichter contributed greatly to the landscape of hope and possibility that exists in vision science.
One of the most highly regarded vision centers in the country, the W.K. Kellogg Eye Center ranks at the top in all three areas of its mission: clinical care, research, and education. With 20 laboratories and a renowned team of basic and clinical scientists, Kellogg continues its search for the treatment and cure of debilitating eye diseases, such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and thyroid eye disease.
